Rides & Meet‑ups

Three speeds, one club. Everything is no-drop — we regroup at every turn and we wait at the top. Show up on whatever bike you own.
Not a rider? Skip to the calendar — First Fridays, takeovers and pop-ups land there too.

Flat and forgiving. Conversation the whole way, coffee stop in the middle. If you haven't ridden in years, this is the one.
Lake Merritt laps — the club's living room. Flat, car-light, bail out wheneverBay Trail to Alameda — dead flat, water at your shoulder, turn around at the ferry

Rolling

~20–35miles (target)
real climbing · conversational but working
once or twice a month
You'll breathe hard on the way up and grin the whole way down. Some hills, nothing that breaks you.
Redwood Road — one long argument with gravity, redwoods holding the doorSkyline out-and-back — ridge running with the whole Bay thrown in for free

Spicy

~35–50miles (target)
serious climbing · regroup at the top
rare — when somebody calls it
The hills, properly. Bring gearing you trust and eat before you're hungry. Still no-drop — the fast ones wait, that's the deal.

On the Card

What to bring

A bike that rolls, a helmet, a spare tube and something to inflate it with, and more water than you think. We don't leave anyone on the side of the road, but we can't patch a tube we don't have.

New to riding in the hills? Start on a Chill and talk to whoever's leading. Nobody here started fast. Join the club to get the meet point and the route the week of.

Join the club — membership is free

Members get the date, the meet point and the route before anyone else. No dues, no tryouts, no spandex. The pour after the ride is a member benefit — never for sale.
